PEPPER (HOT)
Bhut Jolokia

Like the Habanero, Scotch Bonnet and Red Savina, Bhut Jolokia belongs to the Capsicum chinense family. This chile originated in the Northeast of India, particularly Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and neighboring Bangladesh. The Bhut Jolokia was awarded the "hottest of all spices" by Guinness World Records in 2006. It's heat levels have been tested at over 1 million Scoville Heat Units!

Suggestions: If saving seeds, plant hot and sweet peppers in separate areas to avoid cross-pollination. Pick peppers regularly for increased yields.
